Jody Clark

1981– · Engraver, Royal Mint (in-house designer)

Royal Mint engraver who designed the fifth and final portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, used from 2015 to 2022. Clark was the first Royal Mint employee in over a century to have a coinage portrait selected, and the youngest portrait designer in modern history. The Clark portrait covers the introduction of the 12-sided £1 (2017), the Beatrix Potter 50p series, Paddington 50p and the Brexit 50p.
