Edwina Ellis
Australian-born wood engraver, illustrator and printmaker working in the UK. Has produced multiple coin designs for the Royal Mint including reverse engravings on the £1 series and several historical commemoratives. Ellis's wood-engraving background gives her coin designs a distinctive linear, illustrative style that contrasts with the more sculpted Royal Mint house aesthetic. Royal Mint announced her as the designer of the 2026 Mr Tumnus Narnia 50p, marking 75 years of C.S. Lewis's The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
