Leonard Charles Wyon
Son of William Wyon, designer of the celebrated 1860 "Bun Head" Victorian penny — Victoria with her hair drawn into a bun, used on the bronze penny, halfpenny and farthing 1860–1894. Also responsible for the seated Britannia reverses that defined Victorian copper. The Bun Head penny is one of the most heavily-collected British series; the 1869 issue is the famous key date.
