History and design
The Bond Films of the 2010s £5 is the sixth coin in the Royal Mint's Six Decades of 007 collection and the last of the six decade designs. It covers the years in which Daniel Craig led the series, and the Mint picks out Skyfall and Spectre. A completer coin showing six vehicles from the films followed it to close the seven-coin set. The series is a licensed product made with EON Productions and Danjaq.
The coin is dated 2024 and is a collector issue. The Royal Mint says £5 crowns "are intended as souvenirs rather than for everyday use", and they are not counted in its circulating mintage figures. No striking or sales number exists for this coin yet, since the Mint's commemorative sales pages end with coins dated 2023, and the Brilliant Uncirculated product page gives no issue limit.

Collecting notes
The Brilliant Uncirculated coin came in a Royal Mint pack about the decade of films led by Craig. A coin still in that pack is protected from the contact marks that the broad fields of a loose crown pick up, so check the pack is complete and the coin unhandled.
It can lawfully be used as money, because the proclamation makes it legal tender for any amount, but the Royal Mint says "banks are not required to accept" crowns and recommends asking a bank before taking one to a branch.
The silver proof of this design is a 2oz coin. The proclamation specifies the £5 silver piece at 62.86g and 40mm, and the Mint's product page gives it a maximum coin mintage of 756. The set runs from the 1960s coin to the completer coin.
