height="360" - Standard (default):
height="540" - Tall (more results visible):
height="700"
Pre-loading a search? Append query parameters:
Supports ?q= (coin name or denomination) and ?year= (any 4-digit year).
Attribution requirements
None — beyond what's already baked into the widget. Every embed shows "Powered by MyCoinage" in the footer, and clicks on coin names open the relevant MyCoinage coin page in the parent window (with UTM tracking so we can see embed-driven traffic).
You don't need to credit us elsewhere or link to us elsewhere on your site, though we appreciate it if you do. The widget is genuinely free.
FAQs
Will the widget slow my site down?
No measurable effect on Largest Contentful Paint or Cumulative Layout Shift.
The iframe loads lazily (with loading="lazy") so it doesn't block your above-the-fold content.
Can I customise the colour scheme?
Currently no — the widget uses MyCoinage's dark palette (navy + gold + electric blue). A light-mode variant is on the roadmap. Drop us a note via /contact if that's blocking you.
Can I embed multiple widgets on the same page?
Yes. Each iframe is independent.
What about US coins?
The current widget covers British coins only. A US widget is on the roadmap as our US catalogue grows.
